How to Request Data Deletion
To request deletion of your personal data, please email us at:
Include the following information in your email:
- Your email address associated with your TaskN account
- Your request for data deletion
- Any specific data you’d like deleted (or request complete account deletion)
Types of Data We Store
TaskN stores the following types of personal data:
- Account Information: Email address, authentication data
- Task Data: Tasks, projects, due dates, descriptions, and task relationships
- Usage Data: App usage statistics, feature interactions, and preferences
- Device Information: Push notification tokens, device platform
- Settings: Theme preferences, notification settings, and app configuration
Data Retention
When you request data deletion:
- Immediate Deletion: Your account and all associated data will be marked for deletion
- Processing Time: Complete deletion may take up to 30 days to process
- Backup Data: Some data may be retained in backups for up to 90 days for security purposes
- Legal Requirements: We may retain certain data if required by law
Steps to Request Deletion
- Send an email to support@taskn.app
- Include your email address associated with your TaskN account
- Clearly state your request for data deletion
- Specify whether you want partial data deletion or complete account deletion
- We will respond within 48 hours to confirm your request
- Your data will be processed for deletion within 30 days
Alternative: In-App Deletion
If you have the TaskN app installed, you can also delete your data directly from the app:
- Open the TaskN app
- Go to Settings
- Scroll down to the “Privacy” section
- Tap “Delete all app data”
- Confirm your choice
