How to Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of your personal data, please email us at:

support@taskn.app

Include the following information in your email:

  • Your email address associated with your TaskN account
  • Your request for data deletion
  • Any specific data you’d like deleted (or request complete account deletion)

Types of Data We Store

TaskN stores the following types of personal data:

  • Account Information: Email address, authentication data
  • Task Data: Tasks, projects, due dates, descriptions, and task relationships
  • Usage Data: App usage statistics, feature interactions, and preferences
  • Device Information: Push notification tokens, device platform
  • Settings: Theme preferences, notification settings, and app configuration

Data Retention

When you request data deletion:

  • Immediate Deletion: Your account and all associated data will be marked for deletion
  • Processing Time: Complete deletion may take up to 30 days to process
  • Backup Data: Some data may be retained in backups for up to 90 days for security purposes
  • Legal Requirements: We may retain certain data if required by law

Steps to Request Deletion

  1. Send an email to support@taskn.app
  2. Include your email address associated with your TaskN account
  3. Clearly state your request for data deletion
  4. Specify whether you want partial data deletion or complete account deletion
  5. We will respond within 48 hours to confirm your request
  6. Your data will be processed for deletion within 30 days

Alternative: In-App Deletion

If you have the TaskN app installed, you can also delete your data directly from the app:

  1. Open the TaskN app
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Scroll down to the “Privacy” section
  4. Tap “Delete all app data”
  5. Confirm your choice
